BAM – PÜNKTLICH! Nachdem es Maik und mir in den letzten Monaten doch wieder weniger gelang, die neue Compilation wirklich zum 01. eines Monats zur veröffentlichen, hat es jetzt endlich mal wieder geklappt. Fairerweise muss man allerdings auch sagen, dass das nicht allein unsere Schuld war, können wir ja schließlich nix dafür, dass die Römer den Kalender so konfiguriert haben, dass der erste auch mal auf wirklich ungünstige YouTube-Tage fällt. Diese Deppen ey …

Einen kleinen Wehrmutstropfen gibt es aber doch, denn dieses Mal sind wir wieder unter der Marke von 70 Clips geblieben. Nicht, dass man das direkt spüren würde, aber auch wir können uns nicht ganz von dem „immer mehr, immer weiter“ freimachen und dann fühlt sich so ein kleiner Rückschritt doch wie ein ... kleiner Rückschritt an. Vermutlich aber auch wirklich nur ein „Maik und Martin“-Problem, denn mit über 15 Minuten ist die Ausgabe dafür noch mal eine kleine Ecke länger als die letzten 3 Ausgaben.

Tüta Tata, die Win-Compilation ist da! So würde es vermutlich meine Tochter ankündigen, wohl aber auch einfach nach Tüta Tata aufhören – die ist ja auch noch keine zwei Jahre alt. Und doch hat sie recht, denn auch diesen Monat ist das wieder ein kleines Highlight, mit 70 Videos nämlich zumindest wieder recht vollgepackt. Dafür auch wieder einen Ticken später, weil das einfach maximal nervt, wenn der Erste eines Monats so ekelhaft dicht an einem Wochenende dran ist. Weiß denn die Menschheit nicht, dass Maik und ich auch noch andere Dinge zu tun haben und der Tag mit 24 Stunden nach wie vor zu kurz für all das ist, was auf dem Schreibtisch liegt?

Wobei, die Erstellung war eigentlich recht entspannt, zumindest für Maik. Will ich zumindest glauben, denn der war noch kurz vorher im Urlaub – es sei ihm gegönnt. 70 Videos bedeutet auch, dass wir wieder ein bisschen mehr im Vergleich zur Augustausgabe reingestopft haben, was dann auch bedeutet, dass diese Ausgabe ein wenig länger ist. Und das kann ja eigentlich nur gut sein, oder?

Win-Compilation August 2025

Wenn man so gar nicht weiß, wie man einen Beitrag anfangen soll, dann eignet sich als echter Deutscher immer ein Thema besonders gut: Das Wetter. Und das war im Juli verrückt, aber auch im August, wie ich am Freitag festgestellt hab. Denn auf einem Rastplatz stehend hab ich mitbekommen, dass sich unser Mähroboter verkeilt hatte. Also fix meiner Frau geschrieben, ob sie ihm helfen kann und erst DANACH in unsere Kameras geschaut, was denn überhaupt los ist.

Los war vieles, vor allem Regen ohne Ende – da fühlt man sich dann auch direkt schlecht, dass man die eigene Frau da rausschicken wollte und vergisst ganz nebenbei zu fragen, warum der Mähroboter bei so einem Sauwetter überhaupt losgefahren ist.

Mindestens genauso verrückt könnte sein, dass Maik und ich die neue Ausgabe der Win-Compilation erneut nicht pünktlich veröffentlicht haben. Aber auf der einen Seite seh ich das mit der Pünktlichkeit in diesem Fall ohnehin nicht so eng, auf der anderen Seite ist Freitag auch immer der denkbar ungünstigste Tag dafür. Insofern ist das gar nicht mal unsere Schuld, sondern die der alten Römer, die einfach nur nicht so vorausschauend waren und es nicht vermieden haben, den ersten eines Monats auf gar keinen Fall auf einen Freitag fallen zu lassen. Diese Deppen.

Aber gut, wie man an dem Post sieht, ist aufgeschoben nicht automatisch aufgehoben, außerdem kann man an einem Sonntag ohnehin viel besser die beinahe 14 Minuten bzw. 68 Clips in Ruhe genießen. Und vielleicht sogar gleich noch mal von vorn gucken, denn doppelt hält bekanntlich besser:

Es liegt ziemlich auf der Hand, dass es für diesen Beitrag eigentlich nur eine Einleitung geben kann: typisch deutsch müssen wir über das Wetter reden. Puh, was war das für eine Hitze in den letzten Tagen, oder? Gut, ist ja nicht so, dass wir nicht vorher wussten, was da auf uns zukommt und wer kann, konnte sich auch ein bisschen darauf vorbereiten – aber so manche Gegebenheiten lassen sich dann nur bedingt ändern und ja, auch wir haben die Nacht bei kuscheligen 29°C verbringen dürfen, obwohl die Buden verrammelt und zu passenden Zeiten gelüftet wurde.

Am Ende hilft dann nur viel trinken, das eine oder andere Eis und eben ... aushalten. Und vielleicht auch die neue Win-Compilation, die Maik und ich in den letzten Tagen nicht nur unter Temperatur-Druck zusammengeschraubt haben. Das allerdings ist nicht der Grund, warum es wieder mal ein bisschen mit der Veröffentlichung gedauert hat – das war letztendlich meine Schuld, denn kurz vorher war ich im Urlaub. Man könnte fast sagen, dass wir aus den „Fehlern“ der letzten Jahre nicht lernen würden, aber das stimmt auch nur halb, denn immerhin ging der Urlaub nicht direkt über den Monatswechsel.

Wie dem auch sei, jetzt ist sie ja endlich da und das mal wieder vollgepackt mit enorm viel Win. Oder anders gesagt: 72 Videos, mehr als 15 Minuten Laufzeit – das ist schon gewaltig, gerade wenn man bedenkt, dass hier eigentlich sowas wie ein Sommerloch vorherrschen sollte:

Ach guck mal einer an: Lässt man mal die beiden Specials, die üblicherweise zum Jahresende von Maik und mir kommen außer Acht, ist die letzte Bonus-Ausgabe der Win-Compilation auch schon wieder eine ganze Weile her. 8 Monate, wenn man es einigermaßen genau nimmt. Dabei ist es gar nicht so, dass wir nicht genügend Material hätten, aber es ist auch nicht so, als hätte die Arbeit mit den regulären Ausgaben großartig abgenommen, im Gegenteil. Alles nicht so einfach mit dem eigenen Qualitätsanspruch, aber es lohnt sich ja auch jeden Monat aufs Neue - mindestens als Zuschauer.

Fröhlichen Kindertag! Happy Sunday. Und vor allem: Happy Win-Compilation-Tag! Ist es nicht auch ein bisschen absurd, dass der Tag der Arbeit ausgerechnet ein Tag ist, an dem die Mehrheit von uns gar nicht arbeiten muss? Würde doch viel mehr Sinn machen, wenn man heute besonders viel arbeiten muss, um die Arbeit auch so richtig zu würdigen. Führende Politiker würden das sehr feiern, vor allem weil das vermutlich auf sie selbst nicht zutreffen würde (also das „mehr arbeiten“). Aber gut, ich will gar nicht erst in die Nähe eines möglichen Rants kommen.

Dafür haben Maik und ich in den letzten Tagen aber auch ein bisschen mehr gearbeitet, denn die neue Win-Compilation stand an und mit so einem Feiertag aufkommend kann man ja auch mal wieder versuchen, pünktlich zu sein. Gemeine Zungen könnten jetzt behaupten, dass die neue Ausgabe der Win-Compilation von Maik und mir mit mindestens zwei Enttäuschungen daherkommt: Mal wieder nicht pünktlich und mit weniger Videos als in der März-Ausgabe.

Ich bin aber ein großer Freund von Perspektivwechseln und das bietet sich auch hier mehr als an: Der 1. April ist ja immer ein bisschen spezieller und auch ich hab so manchen Scherz mitbekommen, der aber ehrlicherweise leider gar nicht so lustig war, wie sich das diejenigen wohl gedacht haben, die ihn dann auch gebracht haben. Gleichzeitig haben es die ein bisschen schwerer, die nicht auf den Zug aufspringen, weil einfach alles und jeder grundsätzlich in Frage gestellt wird. Nicht, dass man das nicht grundsätzlich machen sollte, aber das hat an diesem Tag schon immer ein bisschen was von Generalverdacht und das kanns ja dann auch irgendwie nicht sein.

Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: Um das Fass gar nicht erst aufzumachen, machen wir es uns ein bisschen einfacher und warten den Tag einfach ab – ist ja nicht so, dass es eben auf den genauen Tag jedes Mal ankommt.

Und auch wenn es weniger Videos im Vergleich zum März sind, reden wir hier dennoch von 70 Videos! Nicht nur, dass ich diese sehr glatte Zahl mag, 70 Videos sind einfach dennoch eine unfassbare Hausnummer, gerade wenn man überlegt, dass wir auch schon deutlich weniger Videos zur Verfügung hatten. Macht dann in Summe auch mehr als 12 Minuten, insofern würd ich sagen: is doch eigentlich alles total gut.

Win-Compilation März 2025

Eigentlich könnte ich genauso anfangen, wie im Wochenrückblick, nur dass nicht allein diese Woche wild war, sondern auch der gesamte Monat. Vor allem gen Ende und mit Blick auf die US of A gerichtet, aber auch allgemein bin ich einfach nur noch überwältigt von all dem, was so passiert und das ist leider nicht die positive Art von Überwältigung.

Umso wichtiger sind dann die Momente, die Hoffnung machen, gute Laune verbreiten und uns mindestens ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubern. Oder anders gesagt: Ich glaube, dass die Win-Compilation gerade wieder deutlich an Bedeutung gewinnt, weil einfach sehr viel scheiße passiert. Von daher ersparen wir uns mal an dieser Stelle das übliche Geplänkel, von wegen wir sind fast pünktlich, aber Samstag ist für Veröffentlichungen Mist bla bla bla.

Man kann durchaus sagen: Das war eine wilde Woche, eine sehr wilde sogar. Was man dabei leicht vergisst: Das Jahr hat noch immer eigentlich erst angefangen – wobei, auch wild, dass wir mittlerweile schon Februar haben. War nicht gestern erst noch Silvester?

Aber so ein schnell vorbeiziehender Monat hat ja auch seine Vorteile, mindestens dass es direkt wieder eine neue Win-Compilation gibt. Nicht ganz so pünktlich, wenn man auf den Kalender schaut, aber immerhin pünktlicher, wenn man bedenkt, wann die Januar-Ausgabe kam. Außerdem kann ich sagen, dass ich vermutlich noch nie so viel Zeit in meinen Part gesteckt hab, wie dieses Mal, aber auch außerordentlich zufrieden mit dem bin, was Maik und ich da geschaffen haben. Ein Schelm, wer denkt, dass unsere Austausche via Zoom tatsächlich etwas bringen würden (nicht, dass wir nicht auch so miteinander sprechen würden, aber per Kamera und Mikrofon ist ja doch noch mal was anderes).

Wie dem auch sei, wir haben es erneut auf ordentlich Länge gebracht und dabei. Mal wieder übertrieben viele Clips zusammengesucht: mehr als 11 Minuten, 68 Stück – ich weiß langsam wirklich nicht mehr, wie das passieren konnte, haben wir doch sonst immer ziemlich gestruggelt, überhaupt in die Nähe von 50 Videos zu kommen:

Win-Compilation - Best of 2024

So langsam nervt es mich ja fast schon selbst, immer wieder von der guten alten Tradition anzufangen, aber ... was muss, das muss. Und bisher haben wir hier ja auch nur gute Traditionen, sei es nun der beste Weihnachtsfilm oder eben "Ein Herz und eine Seele" mit der ultimativen Silvester-Folge. Am liebsten sind mir dann aber noch immer die eigens entworfenen Traditionen und da darf natürlich die von Maik und mir auch nicht fehlen: Natürlich gibt es auch dieses Jahr wieder ein Best of unserer Win-Compilation. Im Gegensatz zum Rest of sind es hier alledings Clips, die man schon kennen dürfte, sofern man denn fleißig alle 12 bisherigen Ausgaben geschaut hat und doch sind es eben auch die Clips, die einfach noch mal ein bisschen mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient haben. Oder anders gesagt: Die Clips, die man sich viel öfter anschauen muss.

Und ja, das ist auch direkt wieder ein bisschen länger geworden, schadet allerdings auch nicht, denn sehr viel schöner als mit so viel Win - 156 Clips und 28 Minuten sind mal wieder eine ordentliche Ansage - kann man das ja bekanntlich auch nicht ausklingen lassen:

Ist das hier etwa Konkurrenz zu der Win-Compilation von Maik und mir? Nein, natürlich nicht, denn hier geht es nicht allein um Wins oder Fails, sondern einfach die Videos, die dieses Jahr mal mehr, mal weniger Wellen geschlagen haben, ungeachtet einer möglichen Kategorisierung. Und da ich gerade in den letzten Tagen gemeckert hab, dass es an Rückblicken mangelt, die langsam aber sicher nun vermehrt eintrudeln – viele aber leider auch Mist sind; hab z.B. neulich einen über die Filme des Jahres gesehen und da hat mir aus verschiedensten Gründen maximal der Bezug zu gefehlt – muss man auch anerkennen, wenn da gute Arbeit abgeliefert wird.

Vielleicht ist das aber auch einer der letzten Rückblicke, die es dann dieses Jahr gibt, denn mit Google hatten wir schon einen für die Allgemeinheit, mit DJ Earworms Nummer den Musikbereich abgedeckt und hier jetzt vielleicht auch das Internet an sich. Win-Compilation: Rest of 2024

Obacht (ich liebe dieses Wort), noch ist der Monat nicht rum und doch gibt es von Maik und mir bereits überraschend frühzeitig ein Video. Langjährige Fans der Win-Compilation kennen es schon: wir haben da die eine oder andere selbstauferlegte Regel, die wir mal mehr, selten weniger befolgen. Und eine ganz Wichtige ist, dass wir nur Videos für die Ausgaben verwenden, die auch tatsächlich im letzten Monat veröffentlicht wurden (oder zumindest viral gegangen sind). Und ehrlicherweise ist das schon eine ziemliche Fessel, aber ich bilde mir ein, dass uns das irgendwo auch ausmacht.

Bedeutet im Umkehrschluss aber auch, dass wir viel finden, was wir ob dieser Regel nicht verwenden können. Damit das aber nicht einfach „hinten runterfällt“, haben wir irgendwann angefangen, unregelmäßig Bonus-Ausgaben oder auch Exclusives für unsere Supporter bei Patreon zu erstellen – und ein Mal im Jahr sollen alle was davon haben, was uns dann schlussendlich zu diesem Beitrag und Video bringt: Das Rest-Of ist da!

Eigentlich fällt mir ja immer sehr spontan etwas ein, womit ich die Win-Beiträge einleiten kann, im Zweifel das übliche Thema mit der Pünktlichkeit oder direkt irgendeine Entschuldigung, weil einer von uns wieder zu doof war, seinen Urlaub vernünftig zu planen (= nicht über den Monatswechsel).

Dieses Mal aber ist so ein bisschen der Wurm drin und ich vermute, dass liegt einfach daran, dass dieses Mal alles ziemlich glatt lief, zumindest unter den gegebenen Umständen.

Nachdem Maik und ich bei den letzten Ausgaben überraschend viel Auswahl hatten, sah das diesen Monat wieder ein bisschen anders aus. Auf der anderen Seite sind hier trotzdem 55 Videos zusammengekommen, was recht okay ist. Dazu eine Länge von mehr als 10 Minuten, da kann sich eigentlich auch keiner beschweren und dass es erst der 3. Des Monats geworden ist, find ich auch noch im Rahmen. Es gibt also eigentlich nichts zu meckern.

Zudem haben wir für unsere Verhältnisse okay früh mit den Vorbereitungen für den Jahresabschluss begonnen – und doch fühlt sich gerade diese Zeit direkt vor Weihnachten recht stressig an. Aber sehen wir es mal so: da kommt so eine neue Win-Compilation zur kurzen Entspannung doch gerade recht:

Happy Halloween! Ach nee, dafür sind wir dann doch zu spät und frecherweise haben wir auch den Ersten des Monats mal wieder ein bisschen links liegen lassen. Aber bei dem ziemlich okayen Herbstwetter und sowieso an einem Samstag gibt es Besseres zu tun, als nur in der Bude zu hocken und auf einen viereckigen Kasten zu starren, oder? Sagt ausgerechnet der, der damit seine Brötchen verdient und gerade in den letzten zwei Wochen das vermehrt hat, weil mal wieder die fiese Männergrippe zugeschlagen hat.

Aber nach 12 Jahren Win-Compilation werd sogar ich langsam müde ob der Ausreden und ihr wisst ja ohnehin, dass wir das mit dem Veröffentlichungsdatum ein bisschen lockerer nehmen. Geht ja schließlich nicht um die Rettung der Welt und sollte daher in den Alltag von uns allen passen.

Daher also mal wieder mit gaaaanz leichter Verspätung, dafür aber immerhin so gut wie keimfrei und sowieso deutlich bequemer auf einen Sonntag platziert: Die neue Win-Compilation von Maik und mir ist da! Mit 71 Videos beinahe genau so viele wie im Oktober und damit erneut quantitativ ganz weit vorn dabei, dazu eine Laufzeit von mehr als 13 Minuten – man könnte fast meinen, dass unser Gejammer ob des limitierten Contents nur eine billige Ausrede wäre. Worüber man aber meckern könnte: die schiere Anzahl an vertikalen Videos. Machen wir aber nicht, sondern freuen uns über die zahlreichen Wins:

Ü-BER-RASCH-UNG! Ich würd ja gern damit prahlen, dass ich trotz all der nicht vorhandenen Zeit sogar noch Raum gefunden hab, um gemeinsam mit Maik an einer kleinen Sonderausgabe zu schrauben, aber ... die Nummer hier geht komplett auf das Konto von Maik. Zu meiner Verteidigung kann ich aber immerhin sagen, dass ich mich mittlerweile einigermaßen regelmäßig um die allmonatlichen, kleinen Sonderausgaben für unsere Patreon-Unterstützer kümmer, allerdings komm ich selbst mit den letzten 3 Ausgaben nicht auf die Anzahl, die Kollege Zehrfeld hier versammelt hat. Auf der anderen Seite: Ist ja jetzt auch kein Wettbewerb zwischen uns beiden, bei dem der eine versucht, den anderen zu übertrumpfen – viel mehr haben wir aus meiner Sicht eine ziemlich gute Aufgabenteilung gefunden. Nach 10 Jahren wurde das aber auch langsam mal Zeit.

Außerdem kann ich so immerhin noch den Notausgang verwenden, falls euch diese „kleine“ Bonus-Ausgabe so gar nicht gefällt und behaupten, dass das alles seine Schuld ist. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit dafür dürfte allerdings recht gering sein, denn zumindest ich find die Sonderausgabe mehr als gelungen – gerade weil ich weiß, wie viel Aufwand das ist, wenn man dann doch so einen Schwung an Clips verarbeitet.

So langsam könnte man sich daran gewöhnen, dass die neue Ausgabe der Win-Compilation von Maik und mir wieder konstant pünktlich am Ersten eines Monats kommt, allerdings bereitet mir der Blick auf den Kalender bereits wieder leichte Bauchschmerzen – wir gehen ja schon wieder straff auf Weihnachten und den Jahreswechsel zu. Was dann auch bedeutet, dass die Ausgaben, die definitiv nicht ganz pünktlich kommen werden, gar nicht so weit weg sind, außerdem kann ich mir gut vorstellen, dass der Dezember wieder mehr als ein Video parat halten wird. Hochmut kommt bekanntlich vor dem Fall: Hab ich mich vor nicht allzu langer Zeit noch ein bisschen darüber ausgelassen, dass Maik es mal wieder geschafft hat, ausgerechnet über den Monatswechsel Urlaub zu machen (und danach dann auch noch mit voller Absicht krank geworden ist), bin ich es dieses Mal, der dahingehend verkackt hat. Entsprechend war mein Anteil an der neuen Ausgabe der Win-Compilation ein wenig überschaubarer als sonst und zu allem Überfluss hat er auch noch einen Teil der sonstigen Aufgaben von mir übernommen, damit das schlechte Gewissen noch größer als sonst werden darf. Wäre aber auch zu billig, hier krampfhaft zu versuchen, irgendeine Opferrolle aufzubauen, stattdessen bin ich mehr als dankbar und hab direkt wieder die ätzendsten Worte eines ehemaligen Chefs im Kopf: „Vielen Dank für deinen Einsatz!“

Hat er aber auch wirklich gut gemacht und auf nicht weniger als 61 Clips aufgestockt. Das sah zum Zeitpunkt meines Parts noch ganz anders aus. Und dann auch noch pünktlich am ersten des Monats veröffentlichen und die Welt erneut mit über 10 Minuten etwas schöner machen – für mich ist er jetzt schon der eigentliche Gewinner dieses Monats!

Nachdem uns Urlaub und eine fiese Grippe die letzten Monate ausgebremst hat, schaffen Maik und ich es ausgerechnet im Hochsommer bei teilweise wirklich fiesen Temperaturen, wieder pünktlich zu sein. Ein Schelm, wer denkt, dass wir nur unter erschwerten Bedingungen erst zu Höchstform auflaufen. Auf der anderen Seite war es aber auch eine Wohltat, mal wieder ohne größere Störungen einfach eine Compilation zu schneiden, vor allem wenn seit langem mal wieder so richtig viele Clips zusammengekommen sind. Um nicht zu sagen: Das Zusammenstellen und Schneiden bringt ja immer so einen Grundspaß mit sich, aber dieses Mal war es dann doch noch mal besser als üblich.

66 Clips sind es am Ende geworden, die auf eine Laufzeit von 12 Minuten kommen – dafür kann man dann auch mal kurz aus dem Pool, das Eis bei Seite legen und das digitale Gerät seiner Wahl zur Hand nehmen:

Beinahe schon Mitte des Monats und noch keine Win-Compilation – was ist da denn los? Haben will stillschweigend etwa einfach aufgehört? Ist uns das ganze nichtvorhandene Geld von YouTube etwa zu Kopf gestiegen? Wurden wir von den unzähligen nicht zugeschickten Play-Buttons einfach erschlagen? Oder hat man uns schlichtweg den Arsch aus dem Kanal gestriked?

Nichts von dem ist passiert und doch war alles ganz furchtbar. Also glaube ich, war aber gar nicht mal so sehr der Grund für die Verspätung, wobei das auch zu sehr nach Schuldzuweisung klingt, und das soll es nicht. Maik hat sich schlichtweg eine Grippe direkt aus der Hölle eingefangen und wurde für mehrere Tage mal so richtig aus der Umlaufbahn geschossen. Da das aber noch immer ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt ist, braucht es auch uns beide, um wirklich gut zu werden – was dann am Ende einfach heißt, dass wir alle auf seine Genesung warten müssen. Die trat nun zum Glück ein und weil er unglaublich verlässlich und aufopferungsvoll ist, hat er als aller erstes die Ausgabe finalisiert.

Somit heißt es nun: endlich Vorhang auf für eine dann doch leicht verspätete Ausgabe im Juli, dafür aber mit 61 Clips und einer Laufzeit von mehr als 11 Minuten. Da hat sich das Warten immerhin gelohnt:

Diesen Monat sind wir ausnahmsweise mal wieder etwas später dran. Schuld einzig und allein hat: Maik. Klassischer Anfängerfehler, den eigenen Urlaub genau über den Monatswechsel zu legen und nein, das hätte man nicht vermeiden können, in dem ich den finalen Schnitt übernehme, denn ... irgendeine Ausrede brauch ich ja auch. Ganz besonders, weil ich hier mit absolutem Positivbeispiel glänzen kann, denn unser Jahresurlaub passt super perfekt in die Mitte des Monats und sowieso ist das eine der seltenen Gelegenheiten, bei denen ich mich für das Meckern von Maik (Clips zu lang, Ton nicht angeglichen, Zoom fehlt) revanchieren kann, auch wenn er ganz oft leider Recht hat.

Aber Spaß beiseite, Urlaub geht vor und auch wenn die Win-Compilation basierend auf den Kommentaren, die wir erhalten, vielen den Monatsstart deutlich verbessert, die eigene Erholung darf halt nicht zu kurz kommen, schon gar nicht in so wilden Zeiten, wie wir sie gerade erleben. Außerdem weiß ja keiner, wie lange wir noch Urlaub machen können, während andere eifrig Länder zerbomben und niemand so richtig voraussagen kann, wann das Klima komplett kollabiert. Vielleicht hätte ich vor diesem Beitrag nicht Fallout nachholen sollen, vielleicht muss ich aber die neuste Ausgabe einfach noch ein paar Mal schauen, um wieder positiver zu denken. So ein bisschen stolz bin ich auf Maik und mich ja schon: Haben wir uns Anfang des Jahres vorgenommen, dass wir für unsere Patreon-Supporter endlich mal mehr exklusive Videos machen wollen, haben wir uns auch vorgenommen, mal ein paar mehr Bonus-Ausgaben zu machen, die nicht so ganz unseren strikten Regeln folgen. Was die Exclsuvies angeht, läuft das ziemlich rund, auch in diesem Monat gab es wieder ein zwar kurzes, aber nicht weniger gutes Video und ist damit eigentlich der beste Grund, warum man uns mit ein bisschen Taschengeld unterstützen sollte. Na, ihr kleinen Schoko-Bonbons, wie habt ihr euren Tag der Arbeit verbracht? Schön in den Mai reingetanzt? Ich hoffe es, denn ich hab tatsächlich den Tag sehr wörtlich genommen und ... gearbeitet. Aber nicht im Büro, stattdessen standen unsere Dachrinnen auf dem Programm. Die wurden vermutlich in den letzten 25 Jahren nicht gereinigt, zumindest wenn man nach der Menge urteilt, die ich da rausgeholt hab.

Und ich hab genau diesen Beitrag vorbereitet, denn nahezu alle Beiträge sind ja irgendwie vorbereitet, zumindest gibt es seit Jahren keinen mehr, denn ich schreibe und dann direkt veröffentliche. Warum, weiß auch keiner so genau.

Egal, ob man den Feiertag nun wörtlich nimmt oder einfach unseren Dachrinnen die Schuld geben will – die neue Ausgabe der Win-Compilation kommt im Mai immer einen Hauch später (im Zweifel auch einfach, weil ihr das schöne Wetter genießen sollt!), darf aber nun höchst offiziell angeschaut werden.

Da ist er wieder, der Monat, bei dem man gerade am Anfang besonders darauf achten muss, was man von sich gibt – am Ende glaubt einem das keiner. Und es ist mittlerweile jedes Jahr der Tag, an dem ich daran zurückdenken muss, wie humorlos die YouTube-Community sein kann, wenn man einen etwas größeren Scherz macht. Denn vor einiger Zeit haben Maik und ich uns den Scherz erlaubt, zu sagen, dass wir ab sofort nur noch Fail Compilations machen. Nach mehreren Jahren voller Win sollte eigentlich klar sein, dass das ein schlechter April-Scherz war, hat dennoch einige Abos gekostet ...

Seitdem sind wir sparsam mit Scherzen und warten meistens sogar darauf, dass der 1. April tatsächlich vorüber ist, bevor wir die neue Ausgabe veröffentlichen. So auch dieses Mal, zudem ist auch noch Feiertag gewesen – daher nur so semi-pünktlich oder besser gesagt, so pünktlich es die Umstände zulassen. Dieses Jahr wird unser Jahr! Muss ja, ist ja schließlich ein gerades Jahr und der familiäre Aberglaube zumindest auf meiner Seite der Familie besagt, dass die geraden Jahre immer die guten Jahre werden. Allerdings haben wir da auch noch kein Haus gekauft und Kind bekommen, insofern ... dreht sich das vielleicht auch.

Aber zumindest für Maik und mich wird 2024 ganz groß und ja, das sagt man halt öfter am Anfang des Jahres, weil keiner so richtig weiß, was da noch kommt. Aber in Bezug auf die Win-Compilation haben wir uns ein bisschen was vorgenommen und bereits abgeliefert. So gab es im Januar bereits die erste (von vielen) Sonderausgaben nur für unsere Patreons und ich lüge nicht, wenn da auch für diesen Monat bereits was in Planung ist – was ich allerdings noch machen muss, aktuell aber eher ein Pflichtgefühl als „Bock drauf“ vorherrscht. Und auch Maik lässt sich nicht lumpen und hat direkt mal für alle eine kleine Bonus-Compilation zusammengebastelt.

Denn wahr ist auch: Wir sammeln einigermaßen viel, das allerdings nicht direkt für unsere reguläre Ausgabe passt, nehmen uns auch immer die eine oder andere Sonderausgabe vor ... doch dann fehlt oft der letzte Schubs, um das auch wirklich umzusetzen.

Ich hab gestern noch irgendwo gelesen, dass bei jemandem das neue Jahr eigentlich erst so richtig im Februar los geht. Der Januar ist ja ohnehin irgendwie verkürzt (was absurd ist, ist doch der Januar einer dieser Monate mit den meisten Tagen und hat sowieso mehr als der Februar), hat der eine oder andere doch noch Urlaub und sowieso ist der erste Tag ja immer ein Feiertag.

Und irgendwie passt das auch bei der Win-Compilation, denn Maik und ich sind traditionsgemäß im Januar immer ein bisschen später dran, dafür gibt es aber im Dezember die eine oder andere Sonderausgabe.

FROHES NEUES! Auch wenn Maik und ich – beinahe schon wie üblich – im Januar ein bisschen später dran sind, muss das noch erlaubt sein. Stellt sich überhaupt die Frage, wie lange man das eigentlich sagen darf, spontan würd ich bis Ende des Monats ausgehen.

Wie dem auch sei, natürlich darf die übliche Erklärung nicht fehlen, warum das im Januar immer ein bisschen länger dauert: Zum Großteil spielt da natürlich der Dezember mit rein, der letztes Jahr mit insgesamt 4 Ausgaben wirklich voll war und das natürlich auch alles jede Menge Arbeit macht, weil wir halt einen eigenen Qualitätsanspruch haben. Dazu dann natürlich einfach Silvester und Neujahr, wo wir auch schlichtweg mal frei haben wollen und durchatmen müssen (aufgrund der Feiertage ist das ohnehin alles ein bisschen schwierig zu koordinieren mit Zusammenstellen und Schneiden usw). Und dann ist da auch noch die Diskussion um die neue Farbe sowie das Anpassen der bestehenden Elemente. Das dürfte dann auch erklären, warum unsere Win-Seite noch nicht adaptiert ist – es dauert alles einfach ein bisschen.

Wirklich viel länger wollten wir dann aber auch nicht warten, sodass es nun endlich heißt: Vorhang auf für nicht weniger als 69 Clips und einer Laufzeit von mehr als 13 Minuten. Oder anders gesagt: Die neue Ausgabe ist endlich da!

Einen haben wir dann noch ... nachdem wir (überraschenderweise) dieses Jahr direkt zwei Teile unseres Rest Ofs rausgehauen haben – ein Schelm wer denkt, dass wir besser im Verpassen als im Schneiden regulärer Ausgaben sind – ist es auch Tradition, dass wir noch mal die subjektiv besten Clips aus den vergangenen 12 Ausgaben rauspicken und wieder ein Video daraus zimmern.

Wobei man fairerweise auch sagen muss, dass das hauptsächlich Maik macht, denn es gehört auch ein bisschen zur Tradition, dass ich den Jahreswechsel in Dänemark verbringe. Also wenn zwei Mal bereits eine Tradition sind. Und dann ist da ja auch noch die Vorbereitung auf das neue Design. Eigentlich ja nur ein Farbwechsel, aber selbst diese kleinen Details können überraschend viel Arbeit machen, was am Ende auch nur eine Vorab-Entschuldigung ist, dass wir wohl mit der Januar-Ausgabe ein bisschen länger brauchen. Aber irgendwas ist ja immer und überhaupt gibt es mit diesem Video bereits das vierte (!!!) im Dezember, da dürfte uns die kleine Verschnaufpause durchaus gegönnt sein.

Wie dem auch sei, Maik ist ein bisschen eskaliert und hat dann mal eben 25 Minuten Clips zusammengeschnitten. Man könnte fast meinen, dass wir dieses Jahr besonders viele tolle Videos gefunden haben:

Eine Liste der verwendeten Videos gibt es dieses Mal nicht, das wäre dann doch des Aufwandes zu viel, dafür aber noch mal Links zu allen Monatsausgaben aus 2023. Und Maik hat auch wieder den Monat und die jeweilige Video-Nummer in das Video gepackt, sodass man mit ein klein wenig mehr Sucherei den Original-Clip finden kann. Schafft ihr!

Win-Compilation Rest Of 2023 – Part 1

Eigentlich gibt es hier an Feiertagen keine Beiträge, weil ... ich brauch auch mal ein bisschen Pause. 4 Beiträge pro Tag wirkt wenig, aber es steckt eben doch etwas mehr Arbeit hinter den paar fix runtergetippten Wörtern, die man noch viel schneller liest. Zumal ich ja auch noch normal Arbeiten muss, Frau und Kind versorgt werden wollen und zwischendurch auch einfach mal geatmet werden muss. Weswegen auch die Wochenzusammenfassung gestern ausfiel, denn Line sagt, dass der 24. auch ein Feiertag ist.

Außerdem ist der Dezember ohnehin schon immer wild und dieses Jahr sogar ein bisschen wilder, denn Maik und ich haben uns wieder die Liste mit Videos vorgenommen, die aufgrund verpassten Zeitpunktes es nie in eine der regulären Ausgaben unserer Win-Compilation geschafft haben. Wichtigstes Learning dabei: Wir sollten damit viiiiieeeeel früher anfangen, denn das ist echt in Arbeit ausgeartet.

Dafür sind es aber auch echt viele Videos und deswegen splitten wir das einfach in zwei Teile auf. Was am Ende für euch bedeutet, dass es hier zwei leicht verspätete Weihnachtsgeschenke gibt. Toll, oder?
