Yep, auch dieses Jahr war ich im Besitz eines Fahrrads und hab es mal wieder nicht aus dem Schuppen geholt. Außer halt das eine Mal, als ich das Ding komplett aufgeräumt und ein neues Regal installiert hab. Dabei war das gar nicht mal so günstig und an sich bin ich vermutlich auch weiterhin körperlich in der Lage, mich auf den Sattel zu setzen und damit ein paar Kilometer abzuspulen.

Das Ding ist halt nur ... ich finds Zuhause auch eigentlich ganz schön. Und das Wetter spielt ja auch nicht immer mit, dazu halt das Problem mit der Gepäckverstauung und unser Auto ... das macht halt auch schon Spaß damit zu fahren. Zumal man dann auch noch fix ins nächste Dorf fahren kann, wenn der Laden hier nicht das hat, was ich unbedingt und auf jeden Fall jetzt kaufen muss. Und ja, vielleicht bin ich auch ein bisschen faul.

Ganz im Gegensatz zu Sholto David. Der hat weder ein Problem damit, Fahrrad zu fahren (ich ja auch nicht, aber ...), genauso kommt der auch mit relativ wenig Gepäck aus und das, was er hat, schmeißt er sich einfach auf den Rücken. Und dann ... fährt der halt einfach mal von England nach China. Natürlich nicht zu 100% komplett, da ist ja dann auch ein bisschen Wasser dazwischen, aber da, wo es sich ergibt, wird halt der Drahtesel bemüht.

Dauert eine Weile, ist aber mit 90 Tagen auch überraschend schneller erledigt, als ich dachte. Nebenbei gibt es dann auch ein paar Produktempfehlungen von Zeug, dass er unterwegs verwendet hat, jede Menge Landschaft ... und das Gefühl, dass ich womöglich noch fauler bin, als ich dachte:

33:52 I asked a dog to move out of the way. Many people are confused about these dogs in Turkey. Stray dogs can appear friendly, but the situation might change quickly. For your safety, the dog's safety, and the drivers, you should not play with them in the road (see 33:30). It is usually best to purposefully vacate the area by pushing your bike, as they often like to chase bicycles. I don't hate dogs. You can pet the ones in petrol stations and towns, they are often vaccinated and more likely to be friendly for sure.

51:07: I said there was nowhere to stop or stay for about 400km. I was being a little dramatic, perhaps. There are one or two petrol stations on this road. There's nowhere you can book a room or know for sure is actually there when you turn up.
