Obacht, schon mal als Vorwarnung: in etwas mehr als einer Woche werden die Uhren wieder umgestellt. Also die Uhrzeit. Ihr wisst schon. Und ja, es ist die unangenehmere Umstellung, denn wir verlieren wieder eine Stunde.

Eine unsinnige Tradition, die wir beinahe schon mal losgeworden sind, aber die EU ist eben die EU und alte Menschen wählen eben anders als Junge. Das Endergebnis kennen wir, wir schleppen die Scheiße einfach weiter mit uns herum und keiner weiß so richtig, was das soll, denn die ehemals ausgedachten Vorteile haben sich längst als falsch erwiesen. Aber hey, ist doch auch schön, wenn wir alle kollektiv eine Aufgabe haben, die wenig Aufwand wirft. Wenn wir uns als Gesellschaft sonst schon nicht zusammengehörig fühlen, dann wenigstens durch das kollektive Zeitumstellen.

Außerdem haben die meisten Uhren mittlerweile die Funktion, dass sie sich selber stellen. Da muss man dann nicht selbst Hand anlegen und bekommen von dem Bums kaum etwas mit. Ärgerlicher wird es da, wenn nicht alle Uhren so ausgestattet sind und man dann trotzdem jede Uhr noch mal selbst kontrollieren muss. Uhren an Öfen sind da so ein Ding, auch Mikrowellen neigen dazu – und Kuckucksuhren.

Man mag sich gar nicht ausmalen, was das für eine Arbeit ist, wenn man davon besonders viele hat. 100 Stück zum Beispiel. Wobei da das stündliche Geplärre dürfte da noch eine ganze Ecke härter sein ...
