Timelapse: Our Weather

Mich macht das Wetter aktuell fertig. Mal warm, mal kalt – eigentlich wach ich direkt schon mit Kopfschmerzen auf wegen dem Mist. Und was man nun anziehen soll, ist jeden Morgen auf’s neue eine Wundertüte. Allein letzte Woche hat es an zwei Tagen 1 Stunde so dermaßen geschneit, dass 10 – 15 cm Schnee liegen geblieben sind. Zwei Stunden später war alles weg (wirklich restlos weg) und die Sonne schien. Wirste doch bekloppt.

Our Weather – Timelapse from Bevan Percival.

I shot this timelapse sequence mostly over the last few months in the Central North Island of New Zealand. This in an attempt to capture the essence of the often unpredictable New Zealand weather. The weather around here seems to have a mind of it’s own as storm fronts race across the land and of the countless occasions I would watch and then chase the light to try and capture the type of landscapes of was after I would so often be beaten into submission with the best moments slipping by as I frantically set up my gear.
